Food Lab + Food City

Hi All,

As per Jane's request, I have managed to set up a blog page for all of us to upload our work and perhaps have an informal crit sessions. Blogger.com is one of the easiest blog engine, so getting into blogging or posting will not be that big of a nightmare, IMHO.

There are so many ways to do this, but I think it is up to the individuals to decide how they would like to present their work. Here are some simple suggestions:

1) Save the pages of your work in .jpg format so you can pretty much paste your work while you are setting up a new post. Write your thoughts etc below the images if you like, and we can perhaps have some informal discussions in the "Comment" section.

2) If you dont feel like doing it the old school way, register onto 4shared for 10GB free net storage. It uploads and downloads pretty quickly (compared to RMIT's Netstorage.... *cringe*). Upload your SMALL pdf file onto 4shared, and once you are done, just post the link and the rest of us can have a look at it.

3) From time to time, I will do some "housekeeping", meaning I would categorize the entries according to Week/Class, Website, Misc Postings etc. For those who are familiar with XML codes, feel free to modify some things in here.

4) If you ever find anything interesting online; Architecture/LA Architecture/ Furniture/Design/ Food/ Tech, etc, you are more than welcome to share them here. Post the links in a new post, and I will edit them accordingly for easier access.

If there're any questions regarding the how-to's, discuss it with me in class, or just send me an email at amy_izhar@hotmail.com
